Is knee pain stopping you doing what you love?

You may be a runner, a golfer, a pilates enthusiast or a gym rat but if knee pain is stopping you doing what you love it can reduce your ability to keep fit, look after your mental health and have good self care practices.

Knee pain can come in many forms such as tendon pain, ligament pain, joint pain, and muscle pain. When you see an osteopath, we will be able to efficiently diagnose the cause of the knee pain and come up with a plan to get you back to doing what you love. One of the major muscle groups that are key to how the knee functions is the ITB muscle. This muscle attaches to the side of the knee and can effect mobility in the knee when it is too tight.

Below are a few exercises that you can try to reduce pain in your knee. It can be daunting to have knee pain because it effects the simple things such as walking that we take for granted but with your Osteopath you will get back to doing what you love!
