Dr Jelena Blajer is one of the founders and Directors at Sports and Spinal Group. Jelena has been an Osteopath for almost 20 years and has a special interest in all areas of women’s health, pregnancy and pre and post natal care and has a continuing interest and love of treating the whole family, from dads and grandparents to mothers preparing for childbirth, to improving musculoskeletal and visceral function of babies, children and teenagers of all ages, including newborns.
Since the completion of her Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy), Jelena has undertaken numerous postgraduate courses in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, Paediatrics, Balanced Ligamentous Tension Therapy, The Rule of the Artery, Caroline Stone Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Paediatrics courses, Visceral courses, Calm Birth and Parenting workshops.
Jelena works alongside a network of various practitioners including GPs, Maternal Child Health Nurses, Lactation Consultants, Child Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Naturopaths and Chinese Medicine Doctors to help manage her patients overall physical and emotional wellbeing.
Jelena has a passion for the mind-body connection and works with various techniques to help with emotional resilience and positive psychology, in particular with school aged children and their families. Through her work with Happiness Co as a Mindset Coach and Ambassador, Jelena has developed her knowledge and skills from NLP and personal development and life coaching training to further be able to support her patients. Jelena has presented webinars and written articles for some of the biggest growth mindset companies around the world.
Dr Jelena Blajer has designed and created Happy Hearts, a conscious parenting movement and resource to teach adults to form better connections and understanding of the hearts and minds of the children in their lives through effective skills, tips, strategies and tools to help build strong foundations for unconditional love, connection, calm, trust, growth and communication.
