Dr Brooke Stevenson
Osteopath and Pilates Instructor
Brooke is a passionate Osteopath who enjoys managing a wide range of injuries, acute and chronic conditions and neurological problems. Brooke graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Sciences) and a Masters of Osteopathy. Brooke enjoyed her time there so much, she continues to tutor, lecture and act as clinical supervisor there.
Brooke enjoys treating a broad range of complaints, completing additional studies in clinical Pilates as well as dry needling. She is empathetic and experienced in the treatment and management of neurological conditions from disc injuries to neurologically degenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and recognises the importance of appropriate exercises to aid neurological function.
Brooke works with your current health providers such as general practitioners to provide the most appropriate treatment for each of her patients. Her primary focus is on the diagnosis of conditions and patient centred treatment and management. She uses a broad range of manual therapy techniques in conjunction with Pilates and exercise rehabilitation for optimal function. She also recognises that she is lucky to be in the job she is in, being able to work with patients from all walks of life and help them improve their health.
