Dr Ali Hameed
Ali has studied extensively in the scientific and osteopathic fields, having completed a Bachelor of Science, before further completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy) and a Masters of Osteopathy.
Ali has a strong sporting background, playing soccer at a semi-professional level, as well as undertaking the role of Head Sports Trainer at Murrumbeena Football Club in the SFNL. This has contributed to his skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of sporting injuries.
Ali can incorporate a variety of hands-on techniques into his treatment. These include soft-tissue massage, joint mobilisation, spinal manipulation and dry needling to help reduce pain and improve muscular and joint restrictions. They can also include more gentle indirect osteopathic techniques to help ease tension and reduce sensitivity in affected areas. Additionally, Ali’s management approach often incorporates individualised exercise rehabilitation plans to improve clients’ mobility and strength and prevent future injury.
Ali enjoys treating people from all walks of life. He is passionate about communicating with clients to better understand their situation and how their pain may be impacting their daily life. He further values developing treatment plans that are client-centred and aimed at achieving their individual health-, sporting- or work-related goals.
