Dr Rayne Murray

I am a Canadian born Australian trained Osteopath.

I bring to the Sports & Spinal Group 20 years of hands on experience. My journey to becoming an Osteopath began with degrees in human movement and massage therapy, both attained in Canada. This paralleled with my athletic pursuits in the sport of rowing were I achieved a high level of success and endurance running that further enhanced my understanding of the human body and the power of the mind.

In that time I have worked with a large cross section of people and cases. I worked and travelled with the Canadian rowing team and assisted the Canadian Olympic silver medalist synchronized swimming team in 2000. I have volunteered in a nursing home, worked with newborn babies and treated everything in between. I have also lectured and mentored future Osteopaths.

I am passionate about Osteopathy and finding the cause of dysfunction (physical, psychological or spiritual) and working together with the patient to optimize their health. I am particularly interested in women’s health, infertility, pre and post pregnancy care, babies and children. I also thrive on complex cases.

I use structural, visceral and cranial approaches. I am always keen to further my knowledge and training and have a comprehensive post-graduate portfolio
